Special Edition: 4th Anniversary of the War in Iraq

Below is a copy of the message sent out to the Chicago community for our March 20th 2007 Fourth Anniversary Writing Challenge:

The war in Iraq continues—now with more troops—and the grassroots struggle to get the U.S. out of Iraq continues. Third Coast Press wants fresh perspectives. Four years in and counting, how do activists and others see the ongoing war and ongoing struggle? What does this anniversary mean to you?

Send us your contributions—written reflections, film or photo footage, comics or multimedia. This challenge is wide open to your most creative approaches to reframing the issues at hand. Send contributions along with your name and email contact to: tcp.features@gmail.com. Need more information? Pitch us or send questions beforehand.

Check out Third Coast Press at www.thirdcoastpress.com.

Thank you for your participation.
